Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using TagMind (the “App”) operated by us (the “Company”).

Acceptance

1. These Terms apply to all users of the App.
2. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

About the App

• TagMind is an iOS app for organizing notes and ideas with tags and hierarchy
• No account registration or login is required
• Optional sync uses your own iCloud account
• On supported devices, on-device Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models) may suggest tags or child nodes
• Banner ads (Google AdMob) may appear in the free version; they can be removed via the “Remove Ads” in-app purchase

Content

1. You retain rights to content you create.
2. You must only create and store lawful content.
3. Intellectual property in the App itself (logo, trademarks, software, etc.) belongs to the Company.

AI suggestions

1. AI suggestions are processed on device and are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.
2. You are responsible for reviewing and using suggestion results.
3. Availability depends on device and OS support.

Ads and in-app purchases

1. When using the free version, banner ads may appear on screens such as the theme list and settings.
2. “Remove Ads” is offered as an Apple in-app purchase and hides ads after purchase.
3. Billing, refunds, and receipts are handled under Apple’s terms.
4. You can restore purchases from within the App.

Prohibited conduct

• Violating law or public order and morals
• Infringing the rights of the Company or third parties
• Interfering with the App, unauthorized access, or imposing unreasonable load
• Attempting to reverse engineer the App except where permitted by law
• Using the App in unsafe situations (for example while walking or driving)
• Any other conduct the Company reasonably deems inappropriate

Minors

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users who are minors 13 or older should use the App with guardian consent.

Disclaimer

1. The Company does not warrant that the App will meet your specific purposes or be free of interruptions or errors.
2. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for damages arising from use of the App.
3. Where Japan’s Consumer Contract Act applies, liability for the Company’s negligence (excluding gross negligence) is limited to the lower of one month of fees paid for the App or JPY 10,000.

Changes and suspension

The Company may change, suspend, or discontinue the App without prior notice. The Company is not liable beyond its legal obligations for resulting damages.

Privacy

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
2. Courts with jurisdiction over the Company’s location shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the App.
