Privacy Policy

TagMind (the “App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the Swift iOS version of TagMind handles information.

The App does not offer account registration and does not use Firebase Authentication.

Information we process

Content you create

• Themes, nodes, tags, links, notes, and other content you create
• This content is stored on device and, if iCloud sync is enabled, in your own iCloud (CloudKit) account
• We do not upload your content to our own servers for storage

Google AdMob (advertising)

• The App uses Google AdMob to show banner ads
• To serve ads, Google may receive device information, coarse location (for example derived from IP address), and ad interaction data
• The App does not request IDFA (the advertising identifier) and does not present App Tracking Transparency prompts; ads are operated on a non-personalized basis
• Purchasing “Remove Ads” (in-app purchase) permanently hides banner ads

Firebase Crashlytics

• To improve stability, crash technical data (stack traces, device/OS info, app version, and similar) may be sent to Firebase Crashlytics
• Crash data is not used to identify you personally

Firebase Analytics

• To improve the product, usage and feature interaction data, device information, and coarse location may be sent to Firebase Analytics
• Analytics does not use IDFA and is not linked to a user identity such as name or email
• Because there is no login, analytics data is treated as anonymous app usage data

iCloud / CloudKit sync

• When sync is enabled, your content is stored in Apple iCloud under your Apple ID
• Sync and storage are controlled through Apple’s iCloud settings

On-device AI (Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models)

• On supported devices and OS versions, the App may use Apple’s on-device foundation models to suggest tags or child nodes
• This processing happens on device; suggestion inputs are not sent to us or to an external AI service
• AI suggestions may be unavailable depending on device and OS support

In-app purchases (Apple)

• Purchases such as “Remove Ads” are processed by Apple via the App Store / StoreKit
• We do not receive or store payment card details
• Purchase state needed to hide ads may be handled on device and by Apple

Purposes of use

• Providing, maintaining, protecting, and improving the App
• Investigating and fixing crashes and bugs
• Understanding usage to improve features
• Serving ads (unless removed) and reflecting purchase status
• Responding to support requests

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by:

• Google (AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics)
• Apple (App Store / purchases, iCloud / CloudKit, on-device AI frameworks)

Storage and retention

• Your content: on device and, if enabled, in your iCloud
• Crashlytics / Analytics: on Google services (which may include servers outside your country), retained per those services’ settings and policies
• Advertising-related data: per Google’s policies

Deletion

• Deleting the App removes on-device data
• iCloud data can be managed or deleted via Apple’s iCloud settings/storage tools
• Aggregated analytics data may not be individually deletable

Children’s privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating this page and/or through in-app notice.
